The official website says that the animated movie Song Of The Sea used Anime Studio Pro 11 to help make their movie. However, I found it a bit clunky and hard to use, so instead I relied on just importing images and making them visible or hidden to animate each frame. Smith Micro has also updated Anime Studio Pro 11 to include the new frame by frame animation function so that you can do more traditional style animation, which is the style of animation I normally use for all of my animations, including the one in the below video. The program also has preset characters, special effects and resources that you can use to help you get started in creating your own animations. Depending on the time you put into your animations you can make some really detailed and unique content.

You can use the powerful bone drawing tool to draw out your characters and then connect the bones to make a skeleton to animate your characters easily by manipulating the individual parts, the end result looks a lot like classic Flash animation. At the bottom of this article I will post my YouTube video that I created using the program.
